Coastal German Shepherd Rescue is dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for abandoned German Shepherds across Southern California. We strive to give every dog a second chance at a happy, fulfilling life through compassionate care and community support.
Our History and Purpose
Founded in 2004, our non-profit 501(c)3 public charity was established with a passion for rescuing German Shepherds from high-risk situations, including shelters, neglect, or abandonment. We serve communities across San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire, ensuring these intelligent and loyal animals receive the opportunity they deserve.
How We Operate
As an all-volunteer, no-kill organization, we operate solely through the dedication of our supporters and foster network. We provide essential medical care, rehabilitation, and training guidance to our rescues, relying on tax-deductible donations to cover veterinary bills, nourishment, and daily needs. Our mission also extends to public education on responsible ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering to help address pet overpopulation.
