Animal Friends Connection Humane Society
Our Mission
Animal Friends Connection Humane Society is devoted to promoting the human-animal bond and the humane treatment of animals through dedicated public education and pet adoptions. We believe every paw deserves love, respect, and a second chance at a happy life.
Our Journey
Since 1990, we have grown from a small rescue and adoption agency into a vital haven for animals in need within San Joaquin County. Our commitment to compassion led us to open our dedicated Cat Sanctuary in 2000 and expand our facilities to include cozy indoor kennels and exercise yards for our canine friends in 2004.
How We Care
We operate as a bustling, caring community that provides a safe, loving environment for 50 to 85 cats and 24 to 35 dogs at any given time. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers works tirelessly to provide daily care and necessary medical attention, ensuring every resident is fed, loved, and healthy while waiting for their forever family.
Your Partner in Adoption
We believe that successful adoptions are built on thoughtful matching, which is why we guide every potential adopter through a detailed application process. By understanding the unique needs of our pets and the lifestyle of our families, we ensure that every adoption is a joyful, lifelong partnership for everyone involved.
