Our Roots and Mission
Located in the heart of the Atwater Village neighborhood, our rescue was founded by Kelly Milam and Sandra Kimberling to address the animal welfare crisis in our city. We provide a bridge for animals from our streets or those surrendered by residents facing hardship, ensuring they receive the medical care and love they deserve before finding their forever homes.

We believe in a holistic approach to animal welfare, prioritizing healthy diets, eco-friendly products, and a stress-free environment. Unlike many traditional shelters, our rescued residents are free to roam and play throughout the day under the watchful care of our dedicated volunteers, allowing them to remain calm, healthy, and happy while they wait for their families.
