Wags & Walks is a dedicated community of dog lovers working to reduce euthanasia in local shelters by proving that rescue dogs are wonderful, loyal family pets. We exist to provide a real chance to every dog, regardless of their size, age, or breed.
Founded in 2011 by Lesley Brog, Wags & Walks began with a simple desire to address the heartbreaking number of dogs being euthanized in Los Angeles shelters due to overcrowding. In 2019, we expanded our reach to Nashville, where our team continues to make an incredible impact by rescuing at-risk dogs and supporting the local community.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that focuses on providing a stable environment for the dogs in our care. While some of our pups stay at our adoption centers in Los Angeles or Nashville, most live in loving foster homes, which allows us to learn their unique personalities and better prepare them for life with their future families.
We know that loving families come in all shapes and sizes, which is why our goal is to find every pup an adopter whose home and lifestyle are a perfect fit. Our team provides thoughtful matchmaking and adopter support, backed by a lifelong commitment to take our dogs back if your life circumstances ever change.
Are you ready to find your new best friend? We invite you to browse our available dogs online or visit our adoption centers to meet the pups waiting for their forever homes. With nearly 17,000 lives saved since 2011, we are incredibly grateful for your support in helping us save so many more.
