Animal Assistance League of Orange County
Our Mission
The Animal Assistance League of Orange County is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill humane society dedicated to aiding lost and homeless pets while promoting responsible pet ownership. We strive to create a kinder world for animals by preventing cruelty and offering support to both pets and the people who love them.
Why We Are Here
Our organization was founded to serve as a vital resource for the Orange County community, helping homeless animals find safety and supporting pet owners facing challenges. By providing educational programs and essential services, we work to address the root causes of animal homelessness and ensure that every pet receives the dignity and care they deserve.
How We Care
We operate a dedicated humane center where we provide shelter, high-quality food, and comprehensive veterinary care to dogs, cats, and rabbits of all ages and backgrounds. Our team is committed to the physical and emotional well-being of our animals, treating every resident as if they were our own while they await their forever families. We are proud to be a no-kill organization that believes in the potential for every animal to live a full and happy life.
Your Role in Their Journey
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the perfect match for your family and lifestyle. Our adoption process is designed to ensure success, including a meeting with the animal, a veterinary reference, and a home visit to ensure safety and compatibility. We take great care in this matching process because we want every transition to be a permanent, loving, and safe beginning for both you and your new companion.
