California Paws Rescue
Our Mission
California Paws Rescue is dedicated to giving rescued dogs a second chance at life through compassionate care and a firm commitment to the Bull Terrier breed. We believe every animal deserves to thrive in a loving home where they are cherished for years to come.
Our History
Since our founding in 2011, we have facilitated thousands of pet adoptions, serving as a beacon of hope for dogs in need. We are proud to operate as a caring alternative to traditional shelters, focusing our efforts on the unique needs of the beautiful Bull Terrier breed.
How We Help
We provide comprehensive shelter and care for rescued dogs, utilizing a network of foster homes, boarding facilities, and training resources to ensure each dog is prepared for their next chapter. By pulling dogs from dire situations and kill shelters, we prioritize their health and recovery, providing essential medical treatments and support for those with special needs.
Your Adoption Journey
Finding the right match is a joyful partnership, which is why we guide you through a thorough process including an application, a virtual home check, and a scheduled meet-and-greet at our Palm Desert facility. We want to ensure that every placement is safe, cozy, and perfectly suited to both your lifestyle and the personality of your future companion.

Foster mom Peggy adores him and has had him for a long time now but they’re happy together. What would we do without her like the rest of them?
