City of Rancho Cucamonga Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center is dedicated to providing professional, compassionate care for the animals of our community while facilitating successful, life-long adoptions. We strive to create a supportive environment where every pet receives the dignity and attention they deserve while awaiting their forever home.
Our Community Commitment
Formed to support the life-saving work of our Animal Center, the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care Foundation helps us extend our reach through essential funding and community initiatives. By partnering with dedicated rescue groups and local residents, we ensure that vulnerable pets have the resources and care needed to thrive.
How We Care
We operate as a dynamic center that balances professional animal control and field services with a robust, volunteer-driven approach to animal welfare. Our dedicated staff and volunteers provide essential enrichment, medical support, and behavior training to pets in our care, supplemented by a generous foster network that offers a soft place to land for those who need it most.
A Joyful Partnership
Our goal is to create meaningful matches that result in long-term success for both our pets and their new families. Whether you are seeking a young companion or a distinguished senior, we believe every animal brings a special kind of love to a home. We work closely with every adopter to ensure you have the information and support needed for a seamless transition.
Join Our Community
We invite you to visit our facility to meet our adoptable animals and see our work in action. Your support—whether through adoption, volunteering, or donation—makes a profound difference in the lives of the animals who need us most. Together, we can continue to make our city a safer, more welcoming place for all our four-legged friends.
