Our Story
Our journey began in 1960 as a sanctuary for animals in need known as Ramona Haven. Through years of growth and evolution—from the Ramona Animal Shelter to the Ramona Humane Society—we have now come full circle as Haven Pet Center. This transition marks a significant milestone in our long-standing commitment to the well-being of the animals and community members we serve.
Our Care Model
As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we operate as a no-kill adoption center, exclusively accommodating owner-relinquished animals and partners with high-risk shelters throughout Riverside County. We rely entirely on the support of our local community to provide a safe, nurturing environment. Our dedicated team ensures every pet receives nourishing food, a clean shelter, and regular medical check-ups while they wait to find their forever homes.
