Compassion Without Borders is dedicated to providing a brighter future for animals in need on both sides of the border. We believe that every animal deserves care, love, and respect, regardless of the geographic, cultural, or socioeconomic barriers that may stand in their way.
Founded in 2001 by Dr. Christi and Moncho Camblor, our organization was built on a vision to bridge the gap in animal welfare. We serve communities where animals are often in the most urgent need of help, striving to ensure that no animal is left behind simply due to where they live.
We take a multifaceted approach to animal welfare, operating through specialized programs that include Mexico and U.S. dog rescue, as well as veterinary wellness and spay/neuter services. Our work includes operating our own shelter, Muttopia, and providing vital veterinary care in underserved, low-income neighborhoods.
When you choose to adopt from Compassion Without Borders, you are joining a mission of hope. We are committed to thoughtful, transparent care for every animal in our program, ensuring they receive the medical and behavioral support they need before finding their forever homes. Our team of veterinary professionals and animal care experts works tirelessly to prepare each pet for a successful, happy life with a new family.
