Sonora Cat Rescue
Our Mission
Sonora Cat Rescue exists to serve and protect the cat population in our community. We are a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization dedicated to giving every deserving cat a bright future.
Why We Help
We are passionate about expanding furry families while supporting our community. By finding loving homes for cats, we help reduce feral overpopulation, preserve native wildlife, and ensure more space is available in our local shelters.
How We Operate
Our life-saving work is powered by a dedicated foster network where homeless cats are kept in loving environments. We also partner with local veterinarians to provide essential spay, neuter, and vaccination services, and we collaborate with PetSmart Charities to showcase our adoptable kitties.
Your Role in Our Journey
Adopting is a wonderful way to change a life forever. Whether you are looking for a playful companion or a gentle friend, our foster-based approach ensures that we understand the needs of our cats, helping us make the perfect match for your home and lifestyle. With over 6,000 adoptions and counting, we know that every cat deserves a forever family.
