We Care Animal Rescue

Our Mission

We Care Animal Rescue is a dedicated adoption center committed to improving the lives of companion animals in the heart of Napa Valley. Since 1982, we have been working tirelessly to place animals in forever homes while providing them with shelter, compassionate care, and vital community resources.

Our Story

For over four decades, our organization has served as a beacon of hope for local pets. We understand the deep bond between humans and their companions, and our mission is rooted in the belief that every animal deserves a safe, loving environment where they can thrive.

How We Help

As a 501c3 nonprofit organization, we operate a physical shelter facility that is currently undergoing an exciting three-phase renovation to improve the quality of care for our residents. We rely entirely on the generosity of private donors to sustain our shelter operations and our community support programs, including our pet food pantry and veterinary assistance initiatives.

Connecting With Your New Best Friend

We believe that finding a new companion is a joyful journey, and we are here to ensure that your experience is meaningful and supportive. Our team works hard to get to know each animal’s unique personality, helping you find a perfect match that fits seamlessly into your family’s lifestyle. We encourage you to take your time, ask questions, and focus on the exciting prospect of welcoming a new member into your home.
