Our Mission
California Labradors, Retrievers and More is a 100% volunteer-run, grassroots organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs, mamas, and puppies at risk of losing their lives in shelters or on the streets. We provide the care, compassion, and second chances necessary for these dogs to find their way into loving, forever homes.
Why We Exist
Since 2011, we have served as a vital lifeline for thousands of dogs across Southern California, saving over 16,000 lives to date. Inspired by the vibrant, pet-loving culture of San Diego, we strive to build a community where every dog is treated with dignity and provided a path to a brighter future.
How We Help
Our organization is fueled by a network of dedicated volunteers and compassionate foster homes, which serve as the backbone of our rescue efforts. Many of our dogs are cared for in these loving foster environments or at our boarding facility, known as the Ranch, where they receive medical attention, socialization, and the affection they need to thrive before joining their new families.
