Legacy of Love 805 is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming high-risk dogs in need, helping them find the loving forever homes they deserve. We believe in the transformative power of a second chance and the healing connection between rescued animals and the people who adopt them.
Founded in late 2024 by Alyssa and Nicholas Lowe, our organization exists in honor of the late April Ecker, whose life was defined by compassion and a boundless capacity to love. We carry forward her belief that consistent, real love can heal what the world has broken, ensuring her spirit lives on in every life we rebuild.
We are a 501c3 non-profit committed to providing a safe haven for dogs rescued from high-kill shelters and unsafe environments. Through our network, we provide comprehensive medical care, including vaccinations and spay/neuter services, alongside training and personalized attention to ensure every dog thrives.
Adopting is a life-changing decision, and we are here to ensure both you and your new companion are set up for a successful, lifelong journey. Our thoughtful matching process involves in-depth applications, interviews, and home visits to ensure each dog is placed in an environment that perfectly suits their individual needs.
Whether you are ready to find your new best friend or want to support our ongoing efforts, we invite you to get involved with our community. Please explore our current list of available dogs to see who might be waiting for you, or consider joining our team as a volunteer to help us carry this legacy forward one life at a time.
