Community Concern for Cats is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to humanely addressing cat overpopulation and homelessness in Contra Costa County, California. Our mission is to provide life-saving medical care, sterilization services, and loving foster homes for cats in need.
Our Commitment to Community
Since our founding, we have worked tirelessly to end the suffering of abandoned and homeless cats. By focusing on rescue, medical rehabilitation, and our active Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, we strive to create a healthier, more compassionate environment for every feline in our community.
A Personalized Care Model
We operate as an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue, meaning our cats are nurtured in private homes rather than cages. This unique approach allows our dedicated fosters to truly understand each cat's personality and temperament. Because we know our cats so well, we are able to provide specialized care and make thoughtful, long-lasting matches with their future families.
