Wasco Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At the Wasco Animal Shelter, we believe every stray, lost, or abused animal deserves a loving home and a second chance. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care while fostering healthy, lifelong relationships between people and their pets.
Our Community Commitment
Serving the incorporated areas of the City of Wasco, our team works tirelessly to enforce animal control ordinances and maintain public safety. By coordinating with local veterinarians on comprehensive spay, neuter, and licensing programs, we strive to reduce pet overpopulation and ensure our animal friends are healthy and thriving.
How We Care
Our facility acts as a central hub for animal intake and care within the city limits. We are proud to offer a robust foster program that provides temporary, safe home environments for pets as they wait for their forever families, effectively reducing shelter overcrowding and giving animals the comfort they need.
Your Adoption Journey
Adopting a pet is a joyful partnership and a lifelong commitment to care. We focus on matching animals with the right families, ensuring that every adoption is built on a foundation of mutual trust and support. Our team is here to guide you through the process, helping you find a companion who will bring happiness to your home for years to come.
