Rescue Ranch is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing, nurturing, and rehoming homeless dogs of all breeds. We believe every dog has the right to a life of love and are committed to helping them find their forever families.
Established in 2000, we operate two facilities in Siskiyou County, California, to provide a safe haven for dogs in need. We are entirely funded by donations, grants, and the support of our local community, operating independently of any state or city agency funding.
We pride ourselves on providing first-rate care, which includes comprehensive wellness checks, medical treatments, training, and plenty of TLC. Whether through our Adoption Center or our sanctuary environment, we maintain a no-kill status while helping an estimated 2,000 dogs every year. Our work is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and foster families who offer the love and socialization these dogs need to thrive.
We believe that adoption is about finding the best fit for both the dog and the human family. Because our process is not first-come, first-served, we take the time to learn about your lifestyle and match you with a companion who will be a perfect, joyful addition to your home. Our staff is always available to offer guidance and answer questions to ensure a smooth transition.
Are you ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to view our available dogs online or visit us at our Yreka location to see the wonderful personalities waiting for a home. You can also support our life-saving work by volunteering, fostering, or participating in our community programs.
