Lola's Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by finding loving, permanent homes for at-risk cats and dogs. We are committed to providing the highest standard of care while ensuring every animal in our rescue thrives.
Founded in 2011 by Roni Taylor following the passing of her beloved Weimaraner, Lola, our organization has grown from a personal mission into a community-wide effort. We specialize in rehabilitating animals from high-kill shelters and those facing abuse, neglect, or abandonment, giving them a fresh start in a secure environment.
We operate as a 100% foster-based rescue, meaning every animal in our care lives in a private home rather than a traditional shelter facility. This model allows our cats and dogs to blossom in a real-world setting while receiving personalized attention, socialization, and medical care from our dedicated foster volunteers across Colorado.
We believe in creating lifelong matches through a thoughtful, transparent adoption process. Our team works hard to get to know each animal’s unique personality, helping you find the perfect family member who fits your lifestyle. Because we prioritize the right fit, we encourage you to explore our available animals and reach out to our team to start your journey.
Whether you are looking to adopt, want to become a foster, or are interested in donating to support our life-saving efforts, there are many ways to get involved. Please visit our available animals page to meet your new best friend or contact us at info@lolasrescue.com to learn more about how you can help us continue our mission.
