PawsCo
Our Mission
PawsCo is dedicated to giving vulnerable animals an opportunity to thrive by engaging the passion of our Colorado community. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
Why We Exist
Founded in 2013, PawsCo operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Denver. We focus on helping animals in need across Colorado, specifically partnering with shelters to assist pets that are not thriving in a traditional shelter environment.
How We Help
PawsCo is a 100% foster-based rescue, meaning we have no physical shelter facility. Instead, our animals live in cozy, loving foster homes where they receive individualized care, training, and socialization until they are ready for adoption. Our team of 300 passionate volunteers runs this organization with the efficiency of a business and the heart of a nonprofit.
Your Connection
Adoption is a rewarding, lifelong partnership that starts with a thoughtful transition period. When you adopt through PawsCo, you are gaining a new family member while supporting a mission that provides medical care, training, and stability to animals in need. We are committed to helping you find the perfect match for your home and lifestyle.
