At Teller County Regional Animal (TCRAS), we are dedicated to Fostering Hope and New Beginnings for every cat and dog that comes through our doors. As a private 501(c)(3) non-profit, we serve our community by providing essential care and finding loving forever homes for hundreds of animals each year.
Why We Are Here
TCRAS serves as the only animal shelter in Teller County, filling a vital need for the Pikes Peak region. Since we do not receive state or federal funding, our work is made possible entirely through the generosity of donors, grants, and our passionate community of supporters.

As a limited-admission shelter, we prioritize providing each animal with the time, medical attention, and training needed to prepare them for their new life. We focus on special needs cases, and our dedicated team ensures that every pet receives the compassionate, individualized support they deserve while they wait for their perfect match.
