Evergreen Animal Protective League
Our Mission
The Evergreen Animal Protective League is dedicated to protecting the lives of unwanted, abandoned, and suffering animals by providing rescue, shelter, and education. Since 1981, we have been committed to finding loving homes for thousands of dogs, cats, and other companions.
Our History and Community
For over four decades, we have served the community through unwavering compassion and dedication. We believe that by promoting responsible care and supporting families in need, we can create a safer world for all animals.
How We Operate
We are a foster-based rescue organization, meaning our animals live in loving homes throughout Colorado while awaiting adoption. We also operate a unique cat adoption center inside Chow Down Pet Supply and a retail thrift store in Evergreen, where all profits directly support our rescue efforts.
Your Partner in Adoption
We believe that a successful adoption is a partnership built on thoughtful matching and mutual understanding. Our dedicated coordinators work closely with you to ensure that every pet finds the home that best meets their individual needs and personality. Whether you are a first-time adopter or an old friend, we provide the guidance and support needed to make the transition into your family as smooth and joyful as possible.
