Grand County Pet Pals is dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership, animal health, and compassion for all animals in Grand County. We strive to provide every animal with a second chance at a happy, loving home.
Established in 1993, Grand County Pet Pals (GCPP) serves as the vital supportive arm of the Grand County Animal Shelter. As a local non-profit, we rely on the generous support of our community—rather than government funding—to help fulfill our mission of animal care and welfare.
We work hand-in-hand with the Grand County Animal Shelter to ensure that every animal in our care receives necessary medical attention, including 100% spay/neuter services and urgent veterinary care. Beyond basic shelter needs, our programs provide essential resources like leashes, toys, and educational materials to foster good animal stewardship throughout the region.
Finding a new companion is a beautiful journey, and our team is committed to making that partnership a success. By focusing on thoughtful adoptions and providing ongoing support, we help bridge the gap between shelter animals and the families who are ready to love them. We believe that when you adopt from us, you are not just getting a pet—you are gaining a lifelong friend and supporting a cause that keeps our local animals healthy and thriving.
Ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to view our adoptable dogs, cats, and other pets online, or visit us at the Grand County Animal Shelter in Granby. Your support through adoption, donations, or attending our community events makes this life-changing work possible for all our animals.
