At The Good Dog Rescue, our mission is simple and powerful: Save Lives. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters and providing them with a safe, loving path to their forever homes.

Founded on the belief that every dog deserves a second chance, our team is driven by a passion to speak for those who are most neglected. We are proud to have helped over 1,100 dogs find new beginnings, witnessing firsthand how a little care and compassion can transform a life. There is truly no dog more loving than one that has been given a second chance at happiness.
How We Operate
We are a dedicated, volunteer-run organization that operates without a physical shelter location. Instead, our dogs are cared for in a network of loving foster homes, where they receive individualized attention, training, and the chance to adjust to a real home environment. Prior to adoption, every dog in our care is fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and microchipped to ensure they are healthy and ready for their next chapter.

We believe that adopting a new dog is a beautiful, lifelong commitment, and we are here to support you throughout the transition. Our goal is to make a perfect match between our dogs and your unique lifestyle, ensuring a lasting partnership. Because we are committed to our animals, we provide free training sessions through The Good Dog Project to help you and your new best friend build a strong bond from the start.
