Our Mission
Animals for Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of animals in need. We are committed to improving the quality of life for homeless, abused, or neglected animals in our community through advocacy and education.
Our Story
Since our founding in 1996, our goal has remained simple and steadfast: to provide needy animals with loving, forever homes. For nearly three decades, we have served Connecticut by addressing companion animal issues and working to solve the pet overpopulation problem.
How We Help
Operating from our shelter in Naugatuck, we provide comprehensive care for our animals, ensuring they are vetted and healthy while waiting for their perfect match. Beyond rescue, we offer vital community programs, including a Feral Cat Program that focuses on Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to reduce overpopulation and humanely manage community cat colonies.
