Forgotten Felines, Inc. is a dedicated, all-volunteer 501c3 organization committed to stopping the proliferation of homeless cats by finding them permanent, loving homes. We believe every cat deserves a safe future and a family to call their own.
Founded in 1992, our organization was created to meet the growing needs of the homeless cat population along the Connecticut shoreline. For over three decades, we have served eleven towns, including Clinton, Westbrook, Old Saybrook, and Guilford, providing a compassionate response to the feline community.
We operate a 4,000-square-foot no-kill shelter in Westbrook, CT, designed to ensure our cats feel right at home. Our facility features multiple free-roaming cat rooms and spacious catios where our residents can enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Each cat receives expert care, nutritious food, vaccinations, health exams, and necessary medical support, including spay or neuter services, before they are ready to meet their new family.
Adoption is a joyful journey, and our goal is to create the perfect match for both the cat and your household. We are proud to be a 100% volunteer-operated organization, and our team is here to guide you through every step of the process. Whether you are looking for a playful kitten or a gentle senior cat, we are excited to help you find your new companion.
We invite you to experience the warmth of our shelter firsthand during our weekly Open House, held every Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm—no appointment necessary. Come visit our residents at 153 Horse Hill Road in Westbrook, or browse our adoptable cats online to see who is waiting for a forever home. We look forward to meeting you soon!
