Connecticut Cat Connection is a 100% volunteer-run, no-kill organization dedicated to providing a second chance to strays, abandoned, and surrendered cats. We are committed to finding loving, forever homes for 750 to 1,000 cats and kittens each year.
Our organization grew from a single-person rescue in the 1980s to the formal non-profit established in 2007. In 2010, we opened our first brick-and-mortar Adoption Center in Windsor, CT, allowing us to expand our capacity to help even more cats in need.
We are a cat-only facility where every animal receives thorough medical attention, including vaccinations, testing for FIV and FeLV, and spay or neuter services prior to placement. Our dedicated volunteers manage everything from daily cat care and medical support to administrative office duties, ensuring each cat is healthy and comfortable.
We believe in thoughtful, individualized adoption matching to ensure every cat finds a family that fits their personality and lifestyle. Because we prioritize the long-term well-being of our cats, our process includes an application and an introductory meeting to foster a successful, joyful, and lasting partnership.
Whether you are looking to adopt a new family member or want to support our mission, we invite you to connect with us. Visit our adoption center in Windsor during our open hours to meet our current residents, or explore our website to complete an adoption application, sign up to volunteer, or view our supply wish lists. Together, we can change lives one cat at a time.
