Our Mission
For two delightful decades, Candy's Cats, Inc. has been dedicated to saving cats in Central Florida by providing these beautiful animals with loving, permanent homes. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill cat rescue committed to bringing joy to families across the region.
Our History and Community
Since incorporating in 2005, we have worked tirelessly to address the pet overpopulation problem in our community. Our passion for animal welfare has allowed us to save thousands of cats and kittens, ensuring each one receives the care and compassion they truly deserve.
How We Care for Our Cats
Our rescue model relies on a dedicated team of volunteers who provide foster homes for our feline friends. Before any cat or kitten is placed for adoption, we ensure they are fully vetted, which includes testing for feline aids and leukemia, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and microchipping. We also partner with local veterinarians to provide essential medical care for all animals in our program.
