Tri-County Animal Rescue
Saving Lives, One Paw at a Time
Since 1996, Tri-County Animal Rescue has been a 100% no-kill, 501(c)(3) nonprofit shelter dedicated to providing every cat and dog a second chance at a happy, healthy life. We believe in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need to ensure they find the love they truly deserve.
Our Journey and Commitment
Established by friends Suzi Goldsmith and Jeanette Christos, our organization has grown from a shared passion into a vital regional resource that has saved over 100,000 lives. For 30 years, we have served Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties, consistently stepping in to provide a lifeline for animals in crisis, from local rescues to those impacted by natural disasters.
How We Care for Our Animals
Our Boca Raton campus acts as a sanctuary where each rescue is treated like family by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers. We provide comprehensive, compassionate care and even host the on-site Lois Pope Pet Clinic to ensure our residents—and the community’s pets—have access to essential veterinary services.
The Joy of Adoption
We believe that bringing a rescue animal into your home is a beautiful, life-changing commitment. Our team is here to guide you through a thoughtful, personalized process to ensure we find the perfect match for your family, creating a bond that will last a lifetime.
