A Legacy of Compassion
Founded in 2008 by a small group of passionate animal lovers, our organization grew through the vision and leadership of the late local developer Nathan “Nate” Benderson. What began in a humble garage has blossomed into an eight-acre sanctuary dedicated to helping abandoned, neglected, and mistreated dogs and cats find the love they deserve.
Providing a Haven
As a proud 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we operate as a no-kill shelter at our facility on Lorraine Road. By maintaining a save rate of 99%, we ensure that our furry residents receive exceptional care, medical support, and affection while they wait for their forever homes. Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers works tirelessly to ensure every animal feels safe and cherished.
