Miami Dade Animal Services

Our Mission

At the Miami-Dade Animal Services Pet Adoption & Protection Center, our mission is to save the lives of abandoned animals in our care and protect our community’s pets from cruelty. We are dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their owners and ensuring the health and safety of both people and animals in our county.

Commitment to Care

We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy life. Our Pet Adoption and Protection Center serves as a vital resource, providing essential services such as vaccinations and spay or neuter surgeries to support pet health across Miami-Dade. By offering these services, we strive to create a safer and more compassionate community for all.

How We Help

Our shelter operates as a central hub for animal welfare, where we provide professional care and vetting for every pet that comes through our doors. All animals available for adoption are microchipped and receive foundational medical care to ensure they are ready for their new homes. We also work closely with our community to foster pets, helping to ease kennel stress and provide our animals with the socialization they need to thrive.

Building Lifelong Bonds

Adoption is the start of a beautiful, lifelong partnership, and we are here to help you find your perfect match. Whether you are searching for a new best friend or looking to support our mission through fostering, you are a crucial part of our lifesaving work. We are proud to facilitate these connections, turning shelter animals into cherished family members.

Join Our Mission

There has never been a better time to make a difference in a shelter pet's life. We invite you to search for your new companion today through our website or visit us at our Doral location to meet the animals currently awaiting their forever homes. Together, we can continue to protect, care for, and celebrate the animals that make our community complete.
