Fur and Tails Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Fur and Tails Animal Rescue is dedicated to providing sick, injured, abused, and hard-to-place animals with a safe, loving environment to heal. We strive to give every resident a second chance, guiding them toward the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
A Legacy of Compassion
Founded by our president, Carri, this rescue fulfills a lifelong dream of creating a sanctuary for animals in need. Born from a deep personal commitment, our organization has grown into a dedicated team working tirelessly to ensure that every pet—regardless of its medical or emotional background—receives the care and affection it needs to thrive.
Our Care Model
We operate through a unique blend of care to ensure the best outcomes for our animals. Our Fort Myers foster farm provides a working, home-like environment with barns and paddocks for larger animals, while our vital network of local foster homes gives cats and dogs the one-on-one attention they require to flourish in a family setting.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that successful adoptions are built on thoughtful connections and clear communication. Because we prioritize the specific needs of each animal, our adoption process includes an application, interviews, and personalized matching to ensure a harmonious transition for both you and your new companion. We are here to support you throughout this journey, helping you find a pet that truly completes your home.
