Polka Dogz Pet REscue, INc.
Our Mission
Polka Dogz Pet Rescue is a registered 501c3 organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of dogs. We are committed to giving these animals a second chance while educating our community on the importance of responsible pet ownership.
Why We Are Here
Based in Central Florida and the Orlando area, we recognize that rescuing pets is a significant task that requires the collective heart of our community. Every day, we strive to combat animal abuse and neglect by providing medical care and sanctuary to those in need, ensuring that every dog in our care knows they are valued and safe.
How We Help
Our work is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers and donors who make it possible for us to rescue dogs from difficult situations, including kill shelters. We provide essential veterinary exams, vaccinations, and life-saving treatments, such as care for heartworm disease, to ensure each dog is healthy and ready for their next chapter.
The Adopter Connection
We believe that finding the right match is a matter of life and death, which is why we are deeply careful about placing pets in safe, loving homes. Our process includes home surveys and careful interviews because we seek fellow animal lovers who are committed to providing the very best care for their new family member for years to come.
