Our Mission
Paws Fur Recovery is a private, no-kill dog rescue committed to creating second chances for dogs who find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. We serve the Treasure Coast of Florida by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs who are at risk of euthanasia.
Local Roots, Lasting Impact
Based on a tranquil 20-acre ranch in Indiantown, Florida, we are a grass-roots organization driven by local people helping local dogs. We recognize that many of our furry friends come from overcrowded shelters, and we work tirelessly to provide them with the stability and care they need to thrive before finding their forever homes.
How We Care
Our operation combines a climate-controlled kennel facility with a supportive network of foster homes to ensure every dog receives individualized care. Our dedicated team and volunteers work 365 days a year to provide medical attention, including heartworm treatment, behavioral enrichment, and the tender loving care required for every dog’s unique journey.

He’s 8 years old, and right now he and his owner desperately need someone to step up and help. Bronson’s owner is leaving a domestic violence situation and working to get herself into a safe and permanent living situation. She needs someone who can foster Bronson for approximately six weeks while she gets back on her feet. Dogs can be victims of domestic violence too. They can become one more reason someone is afraid to leave — because they simply cannot imagine leaving their beloved pet behind. Bronson is the one thing she has left, and knowing that he is somewhere safe and loved would give her one less thing to worry about while she rebuilds her life. 🙏 Could you be Bronson’s temporary safe place?
