Furry Friends
Rewriting Their Stories
Furry Friends Humane is a nonprofit, no-kill rescue organization committed to supporting the human-animal bond by addressing needs at both ends of the leash. We transform lives through exceptional animal care, innovative lifesaving programs, and advocacy to ensure every animal gets a true chance at the life they deserve.
Our Commitment to Compassion
Based in Jupiter, Florida, we operate 365 days a year because there are no days off in rescue. We are proud to serve as Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control’s number one rescue partner, pulling exclusively from municipal shelters where animals face euthanasia due to space constraints.
A Modern Approach to Care
We are more than just a shelter; we are a solution-driven team. Our modern Jupiter campus features a state-of-the-art adoption center and an award-winning veterinary clinic that provides high-quality care to our rescues and the public alike. By keeping our adoption fees accessible and our operations transparent, we ensure that every life we touch has the best possible path to a forever home.
Your Partner in Adoption
Adopting is not just about bringing a pet home; it is about finding a companion who is the perfect fit for your family and lifestyle. Our dedicated adoption counselors are here to answer your questions and help you navigate the process with confidence. When you adopt from Furry Friends, you are not just saving a life, you are part of a community that values love and loyalty.

9/29 - Woodie came to us as an urgent rescue request, his little body coated in a tar-like substance. 💔 To help him heal, our medical team had to shave most of his fur and amputate part of his tail. And somehow, after everything he’s been through, Woodie is still the SWEETEST boy. 🥹 He wants nothing more than to curl up close, cuddle and soak up all the love (and warmth!) he can get while his fur grows back. Now the hard part is behind him. Woodie is safe, healing beautifully and officially available for adoption. ❤️

9/26 - We need fosters. Sometimes all a dog or cat needs is a temporary place to land while they wait for what’s next. It could be a few days, a few weeks, or just helping when our shelter is full. Furry Friends provides the support and supplies, you provide the home, love and a little extra room in your routine. ❤️ Whether you’ve fostered before or have been thinking about trying it, we’d love to have you. 🏠 Become a Furry Friends foster: link in bio
