Santa Rosa County Animal Services
Our Mission
Santa Rosa County Animal Services is dedicated to building a society where every animal is treated with compassion. Our mission is to provide humane shelter and care for the thousands of lost, displaced, and victimized animals that enter our doors each year.
Our Commitment to Change
Since 2019, we have completely transformed our approach to animal sheltering to better serve both our community and our pets. This journey has led us to achieve no-kill status, reflecting our unwavering dedication to providing a positive, hopeful outcome for every animal in our care.
How We Care
We serve our community through a combination of shelter care and active field operations, including outreach, intervention, and education on responsible pet ownership. Many of our animals thrive in our foster network, which allows them to experience a home environment while they wait for their forever families. We encourage you to contact our shelter to confirm if an animal you are interested in is currently at our facility or in one of our foster homes.
