Patty Baker Humane Society Naples is dedicated to sheltering animals in times of need, finding them life-long homes, and advocating for responsible pet ownership. We believe that pets belong with their families, and our work is rooted in the joy of the bond between people and their companions.
Since 1960, our organization has served as a community-driven safety net for homeless and at-risk pets in Collier County. Born from the kindness of neighbors coming together after Hurricane Donna, we have grown over the last sixty-five years from a grassroots volunteer effort into a comprehensive animal welfare resource.
We treat our shelter as a temporary stop, not a final destination, ensuring every animal receives individualized medical attention and behavioral support. Our model combines a dedicated shelter environment with a robust foster network and community-wide resources like the Denny Plesea Pet Food Pantry to keep pets and families together. We operate as an independent nonprofit, relying on the generous support of our donors to provide this level of care.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to helping you find the perfect match for your home. By assessing each animal as an individual, we provide transparent information to ensure a successful, lasting bond between you and your new pet. Whether you are looking for a playful puppy or a calm, seasoned companion, we work to make the process simple and rewarding for everyone involved.
