The Little Cats' Rescue, Inc.
Our Mission
The Little Cats' Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe, enriching, and loving environment for cats and kittens in need. We are committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of our residents, striving to find the perfect forever home for every cat that enters our sanctuary.
Our History
Founded in 2003, our sanctuary is located in New Port Richey, Florida. We were established in the loving memory of Zacheriah T. Cat, who was rescued from abuse in 1989 and spent thirteen years by our founder's side, inspiring our mission to offer tender, loving care to those who need it most.
Our Sanctuary Life
We provide a unique, no-kill environment where our residents live freely as their health and temperament allow. By focusing on an atmosphere of security and enrichment, we ensure our cats grow and thrive while awaiting their future families. Our rescues are promised a forever home at the sanctuary, providing them with a lifetime of stability.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
We believe that adoption is a joyful, lifelong commitment, and our team works hard to match your expectations with the unique personality of each cat. Because every cat is a priceless individual, we guide families through a thoughtful application process to ensure a happy, healthy transition for everyone involved. We encourage you to spend time getting to know your new friend to ensure a lasting bond.
