Chez Malinois Inc dba Rescue Garage
Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain, and rehome vulnerable and at-risk dogs. We are dedicated to providing them with a vital second chance at a life filled with love and stability.
Our Journey
Founded in 2016 and becoming a 501(c)(3) organization in 2017, we began as Chez Malinois to support the specialized needs of the Belgian Malinois breed. Recognizing the broader need across Southwest Florida, we expanded our services through Rescue Garage to welcome all breeds of dogs, from small to large and everything in between.
How We Care
We believe in quality over quantity, ensuring every animal in our care receives comprehensive veterinary attention, including spay or neuter surgeries, microchipping, and necessary training. Our dedicated team of volunteers—from kennel attendants to board members—works tirelessly to prepare our rescues for their future families. We pride ourselves on operating as a Right Dog, Right Home rescue, focusing on the well-being of the animal and the success of the transition.
Building Your Forever Connection
Adoption is a lifelong commitment, and we are here to support you in finding the perfect match. Because we take the time to truly understand our animals' temperaments and needs, our process is designed to create lasting partnerships that prevent returns and set everyone up for success.
