At PURRR Adoption + Sanctuary, we are dedicated to transforming cats' lives one purr at a time. Through rescue, adoption, and specialized spay and neuter initiatives, we aim to reduce overpopulation and enrich the meaningful connection between humans and their feline companions.
Our Story
Founded in 2018, our organization was born from a desire to provide a safe haven for cats in need. Inspired by our founder, Tanya Lynn Heller, who identified an urgent need for feline support in the community, we have grown into a passionate team of cat lovers committed to creating a brighter future for cats and their owners.
How We Care
We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, providing rescue services and an affordable spay, neuter, and vaccine clinic to the community. Every aspect of our work, from our sanctuary operations to our clinical initiatives, is driven by a deep commitment to animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.
