Humane Society of Marion County
Our Mission
The Humane Society of Marion County is dedicated to enriching the lives of animals through compassionate care, community education, and successful placements into forever homes. Since 2010, we have helped over 32,000 animals find the love and support they deserve.
A Legacy of Compassion
For years, our organization has served as a beacon of hope for animals in Ocala, Florida. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance, and our commitment to a high save rate reflects our deep-seated dedication to the welfare of our residents.
How We Help
Our shelter in Ocala provides a safe, clean, and loving environment for animals while they await their forever families. We go beyond basic shelter, offering essential veterinary services through our clinic, supporting local Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts, and providing educational programs for our youth.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We pride ourselves on thoughtful, careful adoptions that prioritize the long-term happiness of both pets and people. By getting to know you and your lifestyle, we help create meaningful, lasting partnerships that set our animals up for a wonderful life in their new homes.
