Our Journey of Care
Founded in 2007, Sheltering Hands began as an altruistic effort to provide essential, accessible services for local cats. Since those humbling beginnings, our organization has grown into a vital network of compassionate individuals, veterinarians, and community partners all united by a single goal: to support the animals who depend on us.
A Network of Compassion
We operate through a holistic approach that includes low-cost spay/neuter services, vaccination clinics, and a dedicated foster network. Cats in our care often spend time in our onsite facility, Coco’s House, which provides a safe environment to build trust and prepare for their new lives. By working with foster families, we ensure our cats receive quality upbringing and individualized attention until they are ready to join your family.
