Love Me True Rescue is a North Florida cat rescue dedicated to saving, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for felines in need. We believe in providing a safe, stress-free, and healthy environment for every cat who comes through our doors.
Our Story
Our rescue began from a profound, lifelong love of animals and a personal vow to help those who are vulnerable. Founder Lisa Di Donato started this mission to give a voice to homeless and unwanted cats, ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve. We are deeply committed to honoring those who inspired this journey by creating a sanctuary where every cat has the best chance at a happy life.
How We Care
We provide a dedicated facility featuring a cage-free environment for our adult cats and spacious pens for our kittens. Our team specializes in rehabilitation, offering extra care for cats that are injured, recovering from surgery, or in need of specialized socialization. Beyond our facility, we rely on a compassionate network of supporters to help us provide optimum health care, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and microchipping, before our residents find their new families.
