Our Mission
Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to providing love, security, and dignity to homeless and neglected animals in North Florida. We are committed to tackling the problem of animal overpopulation one life at a time through compassionate rescue and responsible care.
Who We Are
Founded as a St. Augustine-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we support adoption, spay and neuter services, and education to create a more compassionate community. In addition to our outreach, we maintain a 45-acre sanctuary that provides a permanent, loving home for animals that are considered unadoptable.
Our Approach
As a foster-based rescue, our animals live in stable, loving homes while waiting for their perfect family. We believe that this transitional period of security and stability is the best way to prepare them for their forever homes. Our dedicated network of foster families makes this vital work possible every day.
Finding Your Match
We take great care to ensure each adoption is a wonderful, long-term partnership. Our process includes an application, veterinarian references, and a home check to help us find the best possible match for both you and your new best friend. We are here to support you throughout the transition, ensuring you feel confident in your decision.
