Our Mission
Mercy Full Project is dedicated to saving dogs and cats through rescue, fostering, and community support. We envision a world with more empathy, kindness, and love for all living creatures.
Our History
Founded in October 2019 in the Tampa Bay Area, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to helping animals in need. We take in animals from diverse backgrounds, including those facing medical or behavioral challenges, owner surrenders, and those at risk in overcrowded shelters.
How We Operate
We are a foster-home based animal rescue, which allows our pets to decompress in a loving environment before finding their forever families. By providing a home-like setting, we ensure adopters can see the true personality of their potential companion while our team covers all medical expenses and supplies.
The Adopter Connection
Our foster-to-adopt trial program is designed to ensure every animal finds their perfect, lifelong match. We believe that good things take time, and our thoughtful, transparent matching process ensures that both the pet and the adopter are set up for a successful, happy transition.

CHEF IS BREAKING DOWN. 💔🚨 Chef is a young Pit Bull mix who has been bounced from foster home to foster home, never knowing where he truly belongs. And every time he returns to our facility, we watch him lose a little more of himself. 💔 He shuts down. He becomes overwhelmed. His frustration turns into aggressive behaviors. The kennel environment is destroying his emotional well-being. THIS is why Mercy Full Project believes in foster-based rescue. Because kennels are NOT homes, and some dogs simply cannot survive emotionally in that environment. 🚨 CHEF DESPERATELY NEEDS A COMMITTED FOSTER! 🐾 NO dogs or cats in the home. 🐾 Someone patient, experienced, and dedicated. 🐾 Willing to work alongside our trainers. 🐾 Someone who won’t give up when things get difficult. 10/9 - It’s always the big dogs. Always. 💔 We can post a tiny dog needing a foster and have people lining up, practically fighting over who gets to take them home. But the big ones? We’re begging. Posting again. Asking again. Hoping SOMEONE will step up. And honestly, it gets really sad. Because these babies need help just as much. They’re scared, confused, and need somewhere safe to go too. Being 60, 80, or 90 pounds doesn’t make them any less deserving of that. We know not everyone can foster a big dog. We get it. But if you CAN… please. We need you. THEY need you. 10/5 - Pilates was finished… but apparently the puppies had other plans. 🐶😂 A little after-class playtime from our **Mat Pilates with Puppies** event. 🤍 These sweet puppies are from a local **adoption center** Mercy Full Project and are waiting for their forever homes. We loved being able to combine movement, puppy cuddles, and a little extra attention for dogs looking for families. 10/3 - These whimpers are going to stay with me all week. 💔 Turbo just stayed in his cage like this the whole adoption event today, staring into people’s souls, hoping someone would stop and stare back. But no one did. (Except for me, because I’m obsessed with him and would adopt him if my cats didn’t bully me into submission and refuse to let me bring home a dog.) He’s 4 years old and about 10 lbs of scruffy cuteness. Potty trained. SUPER snuggly and clingy and affectionate. Playful. Great with other dogs. He’s such a great little dog, and watching him wait to be noticed, just hurt. Watching him hurt, hurt. Someone out there needs a little Turbo in their life. 9/29 - I’m sweet Nina… but around here, I’m known as “Buck Teeth Nina.” 😔 I know my little smile is a bit unique, but I promise it just makes me extra memorable. Behind these goofy teeth is the sweetest, most loving girl you’ll ever meet. My absolute favorite thing in the whole world? FETCH. 🎾 I could chase a ball all day, so I’m looking for a home with a fenced yard where we can play together.
