Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions - Gulf Coast Chapter
Our Mission
Gold Coast Greyhound Adoptions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to placing retired racing greyhounds into qualified, caring, and loving homes. We are passionate about sharing these gentle, extraordinary hounds with the world.
Our History and Purpose
Since 2003, we have been committed to our mission of educating the public on the wonderful temperament and gentle nature of the greyhound breed. While the closing of Florida tracks in 2020 changed the landscape of our work, we have evolved to continue supporting retired racers from other states and countries while expanding our mission to include other sighthounds and closely related breeds.
Our Commitment to Care
As an NGA-endorsed organization, we rely on a dedicated community of volunteers to facilitate our operations. We provide comprehensive support throughout the transition process, ensuring that every hound finds a safe and nurturing environment. We are proud of our expanded reach, which now allows us to deliver dogs nationally via our dedicated transport van, providing individual support on a case-by-case basis.
Your Journey with Us
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to support you in finding the perfect companion for your family. By matching our dogs with qualified, loving homes, we ensure that every hound receives the future they deserve. We believe that every connection we make helps sustain our mission and improves the lives of these incredible dogs.
