Hoffmeyer Animal Rescue
Our Mission
At Hoffmeyer Animal Rescue, we believe we cannot erase an animal’s past, but together, we can rewrite their future. We are a proud Fear Free shelter dedicated to providing essential care and services to cats, dogs, and wildlife in our community.
Who We Are
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Tavares, Florida, we are committed to being a beacon of hope for animals in need. We provide a safe haven for sick, abused, neglected, injured, senior, disabled, and hospice animals, ensuring every creature receives the compassion they deserve.
How We Help
Our work extends far beyond our facility. We manage a dedicated foster network and physical shelter environment, while also performing active trapping of strays and missing animals. Furthermore, we provide vital outreach services to low-income and homeless pet owners to help keep beloved animals with their families.
Adoption as a Partnership
Bringing a new best friend home is a rewarding journey, and we are here to support you through every step. We provide comprehensive guidance, including an adopter packet and health resources, to ensure a smooth transition for your new companion. We believe in transparency and invite you to become part of our community of volunteers, partners, and supporters who make this life-saving work possible.
Join Us
Your new best friend is waiting for you at Hoffmeyer Animal Rescue. We invite you to view our available pets online, fill out an adoption application, or reach out to us at 352-455-7421 to learn more. Together, we can provide the safety and warmth of a loving home to animals in need.
