At Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, we shelter lost, homeless, and unwanted animals, providing them with essential medical care and finding them safe, loving homes. Through advocacy, education, and community support, we strive to strengthen the bond between people and the animals who depend on them.
Since our beginnings in 1924, when a group of dedicated individuals joined together to help animals left behind by winter visitors, we have remained a steadfast resource for Palm Beach County. We are an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates without city, state, or federal funding, relying entirely on the generosity of our community.
Our campus on Military Trail is designed to offer comprehensive support for pets and their families. From our state-of-the-art Lesly S. Smith Pet Adoption Center to the Jane and Robert Grace Pavilion, which houses our medical clinic and Pet Resource Center, we provide everything from vaccinations and spay/neuter services to behavioral guidance and safety net programs that help keep pets in their homes during difficult times.
We believe in creating a joyful, life-changing experience when you choose to adopt. Our trained Adoption Coordinators are dedicated to helping you find the perfect match for your lifestyle, ensuring that every transition is smooth and successful. We offer ongoing support after adoption and a judgment-free return policy, because we want every pet to be in the right home.
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer, foster, or donate, you play a vital role in our mission. We invite you to visit our campus, browse our available animals online, or join us at an upcoming community event to see the incredible difference you can make in the life of a companion animal.
