Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc

Unleashing the Power of Hope

Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, Inc. is dedicated to rescuing, raising, training, and donating highly skilled medical service dogs that empower individuals with disabilities to lead more independent and self-sustaining lives. By providing these life-saving companions, we aim to restore freedom and improve the quality of life for our recipients.

Our Story of Impact

Founded in 2010 by CEO Carol Borden, our organization was inspired by personal experiences showing how a well-trained service dog can fundamentally restore independence. Over the last 15 years, we have grown from a local mission into a national force, pairing hundreds of service dogs across 33 states to assist with conditions like PTSD, Traumatic Brain Injury, seizure disorders, and mobility challenges.

Our Commitment to Excellence

We believe in a compassionate, positive-reinforcement approach to training that is backed by science and industry-leading standards. Our dedicated team, including national directors and expert trainers, works tirelessly to ensure that every dog is specifically trained to meet the unique, exacting needs of its recipient. We maintain a transparent process and offer lifelong support, ensuring our recipients always have the tools they need to thrive.

Building Lifelong Partnerships

At Guardian Angels, our recipients are more than just clients; they become part of our extended family. We emphasize thoughtful, careful matching to ensure that each partnership is built on trust, connection, and mutual support. We are proud of our high success rates and our promise that if a match is not right, we will work with you to fix it, because our only goal is your success.
