Albany Humane Society/Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center
A New Beginning
The Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center is dedicated to providing compassionate care for homeless animals and finding them the loving, forever homes they deserve. Our mission is built on the belief that every animal deserves a safe place to thrive while waiting for their perfect match.
Our History and Purpose
In 2015, the Albany Humane Society expanded its reach by opening the Sally Wetherbee Adoption Center. This state-of-the-art facility serves as a vital extension of our primary shelter, helping us increase our capacity to care for animals and significantly boosting our lifesaving efforts in our community.
A Comforting Environment
At our center, we prioritize the well-being of every pet in our care. Our canine companions enjoy climate-controlled kennels and Kuranda beds, while our feline friends have access to open rooms with space to lounge and observe the outdoors. These comfortable surroundings ensure our animals stay happy and healthy while they wait for you.
Your Role in Their Journey
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and our team is here to help you find a companion that fits perfectly into your life. We provide dedicated space for potential adopters to meet our pets, ensuring you have the time and opportunity to get to know your new friend in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Whether you are looking for a playful pup or a cozy cat, your decision to adopt changes lives.
