Oconee County Animal Services Shelter
Our Mission
Oconee County Animal Services is dedicated to managing and protecting our local animal population while ensuring the health and welfare of our community. We strive to place as many unwanted animals as possible into safe, suitable, and loving homes.
Serving Our Community
Our organization serves as a vital resource for Oconee County, working diligently to enforce animal services ordinances and maintain safety for both pets and citizens. We believe that a well-supported community is one where animals and people thrive together in harmony.
Our Care Commitment
We operate a professional facility located at 1171 Branch Road in Bishop, Georgia, where our dedicated team provides care and oversight for animals in need. Our staff is committed to protecting the welfare of every animal that enters our care, ensuring they receive the attention they deserve while awaiting their forever families.
Your Role in Their Journey
Adoption is a joyful partnership that changes lives, and we take pride in helping you find the perfect companion to join your household. By choosing to adopt, you are providing a second chance to an animal in need and helping us fulfill our core mission of finding suitable homes for every pet in our facility.
