The Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia
Our Mission
The Humane Society of South Coastal Georgia is dedicated to promoting the compassionate treatment of animals in our community through adoption, public spay/neuter services, sheltering, and education.
Our Story and Community
For 45 years, we have been a steadfast advocate for animals, having cared for and found homes for over 12,600 pets. As a 100% donor-funded organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of our community members to fulfill our promise of care to the animals of Brunswick, Glynn County, and the surrounding regions.
How We Care
We are proud to operate as a no-kill shelter, ensuring every animal receives food, medical care, and specialized attention while they await their forever families. Our comprehensive care includes vaccinations, microchipping, and spay/neuter services, all provided in a warm environment designed to give each pet the best chance at a happy future.
The Perfect Match
With decades of experience in pet adoption, our team is uniquely skilled at helping you find a companion that fits your lifestyle perfectly. We believe that bringing a new pet home is the start of a joyful, lifelong partnership, and we are here to support you in making that transition seamless.
